Joe Zimmerman: Clinician Wellness & Patient Safety Advocate

Joe is a health care professional who has been working in the industry for over a decade, including 9 years as a registered nurse. Joe received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Robert Morris University. Joe went on to receive his Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus on clinical nurse leadership. Now working as a certified professional in patient safety, Joe has recognized the impact clinician well-being has on not only those caring for our community members, but on the community members themselves. Joe is passionate about supporting our clinicians towards optimizing their health and wellness. As the lead of a multi-center wellness initiative, he had the opportunity to positively impact many clinicians by focusing on physical activity, nutrition, rest, quality of life, and safety. Joe is on a mission to improve clinician well-being through resiliency training.
